Roam is an AI-powered virtual office designed for distributed teams. As Founding Designer, I've shaped the platform's brand identity and overall user experience, encompassing interactive spaces like offices, meeting rooms with video conferencing, and large-scale theaters. Roam also features custom scheduling tools, AI meeting summaries, and a robust group chat to foster collaboration. My role spans branding, product design, 3D modeling, and animation to bring these virtual spaces to life.
We embrace a super agile environment, building Roam on the Roam platform daily—a true testament to "dogfooding" our own product. As a fully remote team, we leverage Roam's capabilities to collaborate seamlessly, holding quarterly in-person meetings to foster deeper connection and alignment. This iterative approach allows us to rapidly prototype, gather feedback, and continuously refine the user experience.
